11th annual Juniper Literary Festival: New Writers/New Writing

Omnidawn Publishing’s Michelle Taransky, author of Barn, Burned Then, will be a featured author at this April’s Juniper Literary Festival: New Writers/New Writing in Amherst, Massachusetts. She will join a dozen acclaimed authors who have recently published their first or second books, including Sommer Browning, Timothy Donnelly, Michelle Hoover, Travis Nichols, and Kiki Petrosino, for two days of events. Michelle will give a reading on Saturday, April 16, and participate in a roundtable discussion on changing literary conditions. The Festival will include many other readings and roundtables, as well as a keynote panel with the Poetry Society of America’s Alice Quinn and the National Book Foundation’s Harold Augenbraum and a press fair featuring dozens of the nation’s most exciting literary magazines and presses. A unique national event, the Juniper Literary Festival will introduce audiences to vital contemporary writing and explore issues essential to the future of American literature. We’re thrilled that Michelle will be a part of it.
